The MacInnis Company

Our network of contacts with OEMs and electronic distributors throughout New England can increase sales substantially--in a short period of time.

For one new entrant to the high-temperature wire and cable market in New England we expanded sales from zero to three-quarters-of- a-million dollars--in the first year.

For a terminal strip manufacturer we doubled sales in the first year, and for a component line we increased sales by 400% in two years.

In-depth OEM account penetration.

Our engineering orientation helps us find the decision- makers.

We don't stop with the purchasing department; we go directly to manufacturing and engineering to get your product specified or your service approved.

Often we can capitalize on our relationships with engineers and buyers who value us as a source of information on changing trends and the availability of new products.

We cover all of New England.

Our Connecticut sales branch helps us service accounts in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

When we agree to represent you, we make a broader commitment to function as part of your marketing team.

The difference this makes is apparent from day one when we review your position in the marketplace and--working in close collaboration with you--carefully structure the network of OEMs and distributors we will activate on your behalf.

In some cases, we've even carried out our own market surveys to help companies target their best opportunities.

Our commitment shows in a number of other ways too:

Our principals, Norm and Ron MacInnis, have over 30 years' experience selling to OEMs and distributors in New England.

Norm MacInnis has more than 20 years of experience in the New England electronics industry. He advanced from distribution to management and spent several years representing major manufacturers to OEMs and distributors. His first rep firm achieved a sales mark of $7,000,000 annually in just seven years of operation.

Ron MacInnis also began his career as a New England Representative selling components, wire, and cable. He then worked for a major manufacturer of connectors as a sales engineer calling on OEMs in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, leaving in 1981 to join his brother in forming the MacInnis Company.

The combined sales experience of both our principals, our Connecticut sales branch, and our inside sales team represents the kind of sales/marketing force it takes decades to train and build.
